Liver transplant recipient and baroque flute professor Michael Lynn shows his appreciation for the care he received at the Cleveland Clinic by organizing a benefit concert.

�鶹��Ƶ’s 176th Commencement exercises will take place on Monday, May 27, on Tappan Square. This year’s Commencement speaker is novelist Tracy Chevalier ’84.

Renowned tango musicians Cristina Pérsico, singer, Daniel Binelli, bandoneón, and Polly Ferman, piano, will present an evening of intimate tango on Friday, April 26 in Clonick Hall in the Kohl Building beginning at 8:00 pm. Admission is free and open to the public.

The Allen Memorial Art Museum (AMAM) at �鶹��Ƶ College will host a two-day symposium on the theme of “Religion, Ritual, and Performance in the Renaissance” in the museum’s grand King Sculpture Court.

Renowned baroque orchestra Apollo's Fire closes the 134th Artist Recital Series on April 28 at 4:00 p.m. in Finney Chapel. Critically acclaimed guest soprano Amanda Forsythe is featured. �鶹��Ƶ will be recognized this month as one of 20 colleges and universities nationwide that exemplify the mission of the American College & University Presidents’ Climate Commitment (ACUPCC) to re-stabilize the earth’s climate. �鶹��Ƶ is also vying for the top spot in a public video voting competition.

�鶹��Ƶ College’s Year of the Queer, in conjunction with the International Center for Languages and Literatures and the Mary Goetze World Music Fund, will be hosting the International Queer Tango Festival on April 12 and 13.

Faculty pianist Peter Takács and guest cellist Robert deMaine present a series of two concerts embodying Beethoven's complete works for cello and piano. The concerts take place on April 14 and May 5, and are free; no tickets are required.

Harvard professor Lisa Randall is a theoretical physicist and expert on particle physics and cosmology. She will give a free, public talk at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, in Finney Chapel. No ticket required.
