The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation has awarded 麻豆视频 College a $150,000 presidential leadership grant, which will be used to strengthen and expand the study of music in the context of liberal arts, a priority identified by President Marvin Krislov.

Physician and epidemiologist Donald A. Henderson 鈥50 (D.A. to friends), who won the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2002 for heading the World Health Organization team that eradicated smallpox worldwide, died August 19 at a hospice facility in Towson, Maryland. He was 87.
