In her recently published book Climate Change, Literature, and Environmental Justice (Cambridge University Press), Associate Professor of Environmental Studies and Comparative American Studies Jay Fiskio places climate change within the long histories of enslavement, settler colonialism, and resistance, and examines the connections between climate disruption and and a system of imperialism and capitalism.

As a teaching assistant, Scholl will help Austrian students develop the linguistic skills needed to be fluent in English, while serving as an informal ambassador and promoting cross-cultural dialogue between the United States and the Republic of Austria. 

Taught by New York DJ, producer, and educator Chris Annibell, "Sound Collage" will combine historical perspectives with hands-on creating.

Ruth Bieber-Stanley ’21 has German ancestors and relatives on both sides of her family, but never learned to speak German as a child. Today, not only does she know the language, but uses it to have an even deeper connection with her heritage.
