�鶹��Ƶ College announced that it is partnering with five other prominent institutions to establish the Liberal Arts College Racial Equity Leadership Alliance (LACRELA) to foster greater understanding on matters of race and equity at liberal arts institutions across the country.

To help families address the increasing cost of higher education, �鶹��Ƶ College will award a $10,000 �鶹��Ƶ Commitment Scholarship to all new students who apply and enroll in fall 2021. The scholarship will be renewable for up to four years for students pursuing degrees in either the College of Arts and Sciences or the Conservatory of Music, and up to five years for students who are pursuing a double degree.

President Carmen Twillie Ambar and �鶹��Ƶ College announced today the launch of the Presidential Initiative on Racial Equity and Diversity in response to increasing injustice and racial tensions in America. The Presidential Initiative will elevate and advance �鶹��Ƶ’s more than 180-year commitment to the education and rights of Blacks in America and will provide the framework for faculty and students to address issues of violence, police-community relationships, and racial injustices.

�鶹��Ƶ College has been designated a “Voter-Friendly Campus.” The initiative, led by national nonpartisan organizations Campus Vote Project and Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education (NASPA), holds participating institutions accountable for planning and implementing practices that encourage their students to register and vote in elections in the coming years. 

Results in a comprehensive economic analysis measure how the college directly and indirectly influences the community.

The event features interactive science activities and demonstrations for students in third through fifth grades.

Event introduces Prospect Elementary School students to science, technology, engineering, and math fields.

All are invited to celebrate �鶹��Ƶ on Saturday, September 27 from 1 p.m. to 4 in Tappan Square for �鶹��Ƶ’s annual Community and Culture Festival.

This week, �鶹��Ƶ College's media literacy program will screen two movies for local students on food justice issues.
