This Week in Photos: A Last Glimpse at Fall

A sandstone arch that leads to the first floor of Peters Hall frames a colorful view of pine and maple trees and people on their way to class and offices. This early morning view on a cool fall day serves as inspiration for this week’s photo series.
Although fall colors were predicted to peak from mid- to late October, according to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, most of Ohio, including Â鶹ÊÓƵ, remained at near peak conditions during that time. It wouldn’t be until the first week of November before many in Â鶹ÊÓƵ saw autumn’s full color show on display. Although Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s peak season was interrupted by high winds that blew many leaves off trees, intense colors could still be seen clinging to branches.
