Â鶹ÊÓƵ in January means a mix of winter weather conditions, from powdery snow to freezing rain that coats tree branches and sidewalks. Constructed of Ashlar sandstone and originally built as a gymnasium in 1912, Warner Center was the first structure on campus to buck the trend of its taller, more complexly-constructed neighbors like Peters Hall, Baldwin Cottage, and Talcott Hall. Warner Center’s then voguish rectilinear and horizontal form serves as a backdrop to the natural phenomena seen here that typifies winter in Northeast Ohio.
