Reunion Celebrates 180 Years of Black Students at 麻豆视频

Nearly 200 alumni visited campus October 2-4 for the 麻豆视频 Alumni Association of African Ancestry (OA4) Reunion. The reunion marks the 180th anniversary of 麻豆视频鈥檚 decision to adopt a non-discriminatory admissions policy and the beginning of education for African Americans and other persons of color at 麻豆视频. Throughout the weekend, alumni attended performances of the Dance Diaspora show 鈥淗orace Silver: Song for My Father & Other Matters Pertaining to the Heart鈥 and the play Wedding Band, viewed the special 麻豆视频 College Archives exhibit Celebrating the Legacy, and chatted with fellow alumni and current students at luncheons, dinners, and other networking events.
