Philanthropist Peter B. Lewis, who as an individual and as a member of his family contributed significantly to �鶹��Ƶ’s Adam Joseph Lewis Center for Environmental Studies and the Green Arts District, died Saturday, November 23, at his home in Coral Gables, Florida. “Peter Lewis was a visionary, courageous, and civic-minded philanthropist,” says David W. Orr, Paul Sears Distinguished Professor of Environmental Studies and Politics and senior adviser to the president. “His generosity to �鶹��Ƶ has significantly changed the college and will be felt for a very long time.”
