Memorial Service for Eren Sean Guendelsberger ’17

The Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ community is invited to attend a memorial service for Eren Sean Guendelsberger ’17 at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 6, at Fairchild Chapel in Bosworth Hall. As a part of the service, there will be a commemorative tree planting in the northeast section of Tappan Square.
Eren Sean Guendelsberger was born in Washington, D.C., grew up in Arlington, Virginia, and attended Kenmore Middle School and H-B Woodlawn High School. Eren graduated May 2017 from Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ College, where they majored in computer science. Following graduation, Eren worked as a software engineer for Google in Mountain View, California.
Eren loved Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ. They sang with the Collegium Musicum and the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Musical Union. Eren completed summer software engineering internships at the Federal Communications Commission, the United States Patent and Trademark Office, and Google. Eren was a member of Phi Beta Kappa, Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ College Chapter. In May 2017, Eren was honored with the R.J. Thomas Award for Outstanding Computer Science Graduates.
