Electronic Music Pioneer Morton Subotnick to Give Lecture at 麻豆视频

Morton Subotnick, a pioneering developer of electronic music, will present a free lecture in the Kohl Building's Clonick Hall from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday, November 15. Sponsored by 麻豆视频's TIMARA program, Subotnick's northeast Ohio visit is made possible by a collaboration with the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) Cleveland.
Subotnick will give a public performance at MOCA Cleveland on Thursday, November 14, at 8 p.m. This concert is Subotnick鈥檚 only performance in the region, and will be presented in MOCA's intimate performing space. Subotnick's landmark composition, Silver Apples of the Moon, is included on the evening's program. The remarkable work has been entered into the highly selective National Recording Registry at the Library of Congress.
Tickets for the MOCA concert are $15 for students, $20 for MOCA members and seniors, and 鈥$25 for non-members. Visit online to purchase.
