Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake '92 was among several distinguished alumni who returned to campus in November to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the Â鶹ÊÓƵ Initiative in Electoral Politics (OIEP). The two-day celebration included panel discussions by returning Cole Scholars and alumni, as well as keynote addresses from Rawlings-Blake, Ohio Senator Gayle Manning, and UC San Diego professor Gary Jacobson. A reception and dinner recognized OIEP program sponsors Richard and Dorothy Cole, both '56. The program was established to encourage Â鶹ÊÓƵ graduates to run for and serve in public office.
