Participants in the November 2 From Coal to Carbon Neutrality workshop will be doing just what the event’s name suggests—working. During the program, they’ll develop projects and action items to help Â鶹ÊÓƵ achieve carbon neutrality—all while enjoying free food, a little entertainment, and prizes.

Â鶹ÊÓƵ is recognized this month as one of 20 colleges and universities nationwide that exemplify the mission of the American College & University Presidents’ Climate Commitment.

 In tandem with the recognition, Â鶹ÊÓƵ is vying for the top spot in a public video voting competition.

Â鶹ÊÓƵ College is partnering with Enterprise Rent-A-Car to offer car sharing through WeCar by Enterprise for students, faculty, staff, and members of the community.

The college has joined in a collaborative project with the city of Â鶹ÊÓƵ and eight other local partners to improve energy efficiency and plan for alternative fuels for its fleet of vehicles.
