Award-Winning Fracking Journalist Tom Wilber Gives Talk

OBERLIN, OH—Journalist Tom Wilber, an expert on Marcellus Shale gas development, will give a talk at 7:30 p.m. Monday, April 8, in Craig Lecture Hall in the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Science Center. The talk is free and open to the public.
Wilber won top honors in Best of Gannett publishing in 2010. In 2012, Cornell University Press published his book Under the Surface: Fracking, Fortunes and the Fate of the Marcellus Shale, and he blogs on fracking issues at www.tomwilber.blogspot.com.
He will be available for informal meetings with students, faculty, and community members, including a breakfast meeting, at 8:30 a.m, Tuesday, April 9, at Kendal of Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ. Wilber’s visit is sponsored by Communities for Safe and Sustainable Energy, Kendal residents’ Environmental Concerns Committee, and Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ College Anti-Frack.
