Annual Day of Service is August 27

OBERLIN—The college will hold its 20th annual Day of Service for new and returning students on Saturday, August 27.
Organized by the Bonner Center for Service and Learning, Day of Service is the first of many opportunities throughout the school year for new and returning students to engage with local organizations. The day includes an orientation to Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ and greater Northeast Ohio, participation in a service project, and time to discuss future opportunities for community engagement.
The day’s activities begin at 9:15 in the Root Room of the Carnegie building and continue until 3:30 p.m. This year’s sites and organizations include:

- Weekday Community Meals at Christ Episcopal
- DuBois Project
- Family Promise of Lorain County
- FAVA
- Johnson House
- Kendal at Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ (indoors and outdoors)
- Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Community Services
- Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Heritage Center
- Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Public Library
- Peace Community Church
- POWER
- Western Reserve Land Conservancy
