Biography
Throughout my college search, I had no idea what I wanted to study but I did know I wanted a liberal arts education. Attending a liberal arts college allowed me to explore my many interests, learn how to be an effective communicator, and think critically.
I ended up majoring in psychology and double-minoring in political science and environmental studies. I studied abroad in India, worked for the admissions office all four years, volunteered at local elementary schools, sang in the choir, and hosted a radio show. I had wonderful friends, supportive academic advisors, and countless mentors. I’m so thankful that I received a liberal arts education and that I got to study in the wonderful Midwest.
After graduating in 2019, I was off to South Africa, where I served as a Peace Corps education volunteer. The Peace Corps changed my life: It taught me the impact education can have on a person and the value of global perspectives.
Now, as a member of the Â鶹ÊÓƵ community, I feel so lucky to be able to work with our international students and play a role in their academic journey. The college admissions process can be challenging and exciting at the same time, and I’m glad that I get to be a resource through the journey.
I love meeting new people, going on adventures around the world, and trying new foods. Outside of work, you can find me hiking, working on puzzles, and cheering on Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s athletic teams! I look forward to meeting you soon—please reach out with any and all questions!
