About the Â鶹ÊÓƵ-Como Piano Program
Started in 2016, the Â鶹ÊÓƵ-Como piano program is an exclusive partnership between Â鶹ÊÓƵ Conservatory and the International Piano Academy Lake Como in Italy. Each year, "Â鶹ÊÓƵ-Como Fellows" are selected from applicants worldwide and work with Â鶹ÊÓƵ faculty and artist-teachers who give master classes at Â鶹ÊÓƵ throughout the academic year. Â鶹ÊÓƵ may also designate exceptional piano students enrolled at Â鶹ÊÓƵ Conservatory as "Â鶹ÊÓƵ-Como Young Artists" who also participate in master classes with these visiting artist-teachers.
All master classes and recitals presented as part of the Â鶹ÊÓƵ-Como piano program are free and open to the public. Past Â鶹ÊÓƵ-Como artist-teachers have included Richard Goode, Tamás Vásáry, Peter Frankl, and Paul Badura-Skoda.
