Biography

Eric Rooks began working at Â鶹ÊÓƵ College in 2025 and serves as the director of Campus Safety.

In his role, Rooks oversees the operation and administrative functions of Campus Safety. Rooks is a campus safety and security leader with extensive experience in security operations, crisis management, and risk assessment. He is known for building strong partnerships with campus stakeholders, public safety professionals, and senior leadership, and for leading teams effectively in high-pressure environments.

Before beginning his position at Â鶹ÊÓƵ, Rooks retired after 31 years in the public safety sector. Rooks loves being a part of the Â鶹ÊÓƵ community, and his work emphasizes prevention, clear communication, and inclusive safety practices that support a welcoming and secure campus community.
